General Description

Design all publicity pieces, mailings, and other promotional materials for the College of Fine Arts. (Work-Study eligibility preferred.)

Essential Job Duties

1. Work closely with the Dean to design publicity and promotional materials for the College.
2. Meet deadlines in a timely manner.
3. Manage social media for the College.
4. Provide friendly customer service by welcoming and assisting visitors in the office.
5. Answer phones, direct calls, and take accurate phone messages.
6. Assist with other office duties, as needed.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

1. Be a junior or senior graphic design concentration, having taken at least 3 classes in graphic design or having equivalent experience.
2. Be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and most importantly, InDesign.
3. Have knowledge of design elements and principles.
4. Have experience with publication design.
